About Me

Sam Guttell is a product designer from Boston, Massachusetts, who brings a unique perspective to the field with his non-traditional education in design.

Despite graduating from Brandeis University with a degree in Environmental Studies, Politics, and Legal studies, Sam's passion for design led him to pursue a career in the tech industry.

In 2021, he began his journey in the startup world as an intern at a stealth startup now known as Gameplanner.ai, which was later acquired by Airbnb in November 2023.

Sam's diverse background and experiences contribute to his creative approach to product design, combining his understanding of complex systems with a human-centered focus.

Outside of design, Sam is an avid traveler and film photographer, capturing the world through his lens.
